This Is Our Story
Bringing people together with the joy of languages.
Originally born and brought up in France, I moved to Scotland over 11 years ago where I now reside on the magical Isle of Skye. Over time, I came to realize the importance of languages within the tourism industry. That and the fact that nowadays people were looking for something a little bit different, something a wee bit off the beaten track, where they can meet genuine local guides, with a passion and a wealth of knowledge. And hear tales about the land and its people, in their chosen language. This convinced me that something had to be done. And so my small business was born, Scotland With A Guide!

“The tour was super interesting, I love history and it was great to hear all about the Island's and hear a bit about island life from someone who lives there too. Carole was really friendly and lovely, would definitely recommend!”
“Carole is thoughtful and knowledgeable about the history of the village and tells the story in a fun way. The walk itself is not too difficult but takes you to some spectacular views. I would recommend this”
“We loved hearing about the local History of the village from fishing to Viking history. Carole made out tour of the old town really interesting and I loved talking in French sometimes. Well done Carole, with Covid social distancing safety, we felt well looked after and safe in your company”
